The GE DS200SHVMG1AFE is a SCR High Voltage M-Frame Interface Board designed for GE’s EX2000 Series and Mark V Turbine Control System—one of the final GE Mark lines to use patented Speedtronic technology. A revised variant of the original DS200SHVMG1 parent board, it acts as a critical interface between an M-frame drive’s SCR bridge, DCFB/SDCI Power Supply Boards, and PCCA Power Connect Cards, supporting wind, steam, and gas turbine drive control systems.
Its core functions include converting shunt signals into differential-frequency outputs via DC positive/negative floating shunt isolator voltage-controlled oscillator circuits, then transmitting these signals to power supply/connect boards. It also provides configurable attenuation: jumper-selectable 10:1 current transformers for AC line currents to handle currents exceeding 144 mA; line voltage attenuators and DC bridge voltage resistor strings.
Hardware includes 17 configurable jumpers, voltage-limiting components, and a functional priority-based PCB coating. Installation requires waiting for capacitors to discharge to avoid voltage hazards; it is static-sensitive, shipped in protective packaging by suppliers like AX. It belongs exclusively to Mark V Group 1 and is not backward compatible with earlier base models due to revisions. Suppliers like WOC offer replacement, repair, and warranty-backed unused/rebuilt units, with 24/7 expert support.
