The GE DS200TCEAG1BTF is a specialized Emergency Overspeed Board designed for GE’s Mark V Turbine Control System— a Speedtronic technology-integrated platform used to control wind, steam, and gas turbine drives. As a revised variant of the original DS200TCEAG1 parent board (incorporating a singular B-rated functional revision), its core role is to monitor the Mark V drive for critical faults: overspeed conditions and flame detection failures. It triggers drive shutdowns when these risks are detected, safeguarding turbine operation and equipment integrity.


Hardware-wise, it features a microprocessor, multiple PROM modules for firmware storage, 3 fuses for overcurrent protection, 30 jumpers for configuration, and a pair of male bayonet connectors for secure interconnection with other drive boards—removal requires holding the board steady to avoid bending. It also includes specialized integrated circuits: TCEA Flame Detection Circuits, Turbine Overspeed Circuit, and Automatic Synchronizing Circuit—all supporting its fault-monitoring functions. Key connectors include J7 (PD Core Power Distribution), JK (TCEB Board Signals), JL (TCTG Board Trip Signals), JW (TCEB Flame Detection Signals), and JX1/JX2 (daisy-chained IONET). A thick PCB protective coating shields its hardware, while software configuration relies on the Mark V Series’ standard I/O Configuration Editor.
