Hardware-wise, it features a microprocessor, multiple PROM modules for firmware storage, 3 fuses for overcurrent protection, 30 jumpers for configuration, and a pair of male bayonet connectors for secure interconnection with other drive boards—removal requires holding the board steady to avoid bending. It also includes specialized integrated circuits: TCEA Flame Detection Circuits, Turbine Overspeed Circuit, and Automatic Synchronizing Circuit—all supporting its fault-monitoring functions.
