The Foxboro FBM224 enables connectivity between Modbus-enabled devices and the Foxboro control system. It acts as an interface for Modbus RTU slave devices—such as PLCs and field I/O—allowing them to communicate with Foxboro Evo or I/A Series control processors. The module supports RS‑232, RS‑422, and RS‑485 communication standards and can be installed in hazardous industrial locations with the appropriate termination assembly.
